Drug Peddler held under PIT NDPS in Jammu’s Gangyal

JAMMU, 22 January 2024: Information was received at Police Station Gangyal through reliable sources regarding one notorious Drug Peddler namely Jatinder Singh @ Lamba Sonu S/o Bhupinder Singh R/o Model Town Digiana Camp Jammu.

On this, a special police team of PS Gangyal led by SHO PS Gangyal raided at the suspected place and arrested the drug peddler.

It is pertinent to mention here that a warrant of arrest under PITNDPS 05 of 2024 Dated 20-01-2024 U/S 03 of prevention of illicit traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act 1988 was issued against the said accused.

Finally, in compliance with the directions of Divisonal Commissioner Jammu, under Prevention of Illicit Traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1988 (PITNDPS) both the accused persons have been arrested and shifted to District Jail Kathua
