Drug peddler nabbed with 9.25 gm Heroin in Kathua’s Rajbagh

KATHUA; 24 July 2023: District Police recovered/seized 9.25 grams of Heroin (chitta) like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of Police Station Rajbagh near DPS Rajbagh and one drug peddler was arrested in this connection.

On 23 July 2023, information was received at Police Station Rajbagh that one person namely Talib Hussain @Taalu S/o Alaf Din R/o Karandi near DPS Rajbagh was indulged in illegal smuggling and selling Heroin like contraband and is selling drugs to the youth at Peer Baba near DPS Chowk Rajbagh.

Acting swiftly a police team conducted a raid in presence of Executive Magistrate near DPS Rajbagh at Peer Baba and arrested said drug peddler Talib Hussain @Taalu R/o near DPS Rajbagh kathua with 9.24 grams Heroin (chitta) like narcotics.

On this, a case vide FIR No. 192/2023 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered at PS Rajbagh and further investigation was initiated.
