DSWO Reasi inaugurates Basic Computer Course for girls under BBBP Scheme
REASI, JULY 26: District Social Welfare Officer Reasi, Sachin Sharma inaugurated a Basic Computer Course for a batch of girls under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme at Government Industrial Training Institute Reasi.
This Basic Computer Course that includes theory and hands on training on computer fundamentals, Operating computer including GUI based OS, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Basic Computer hardware repairing, WWW and Web browsers and Security and Privacy is being organised by Department of Social Welfare in convergence with Industrial Training Institute Reasi.
Speaking on the occasion, the DSWO emphasized the importance of education and skill development for girls and motivated them to excel in the field. He laid emphasis on the significance of this initiative under BBBP to promote gender equality which will enable the girls to pursue their goals. He also encouraged the trainees to take full advantage of this opportunity in today’s digital world.
Superintendent ITI Reasi, Rajesh Gupta apprised the chair that the course will cover basic computer skills, equipping the girls with essential digital knowledge and the training will be provided by experienced instructors.
District Mission Coordinator, Monika Sharma threw light on women centric schemes with special focus on Sukanya Samridhi Yojana for the safe and brighter future of the girl child.
