Education Department Nubra celebrates Bhoti Day

Leh, April 01: The Education Department, Nubra, headed by Zonal Education Officer, Nubra, celebrated Bhoti Day in which the students from various schools, including Government Boys Middle School, Diskit; Government Girls Middle School, Diskit; Government Primary School, Diskit along with Lamdon Model School, Diskit. 

The students took out a rally from Diskit Chowk to the Office of SDM, Nubra, sloganeering the importance of the Bhoti language and the need for its protection and promotion. 

Also, a Bhoti poetry recitation and Bhoti calligraphy competitions were organised as a part of the Bhoti Day celebration.
