Educational Visit at Central University of Jammu

Jammu 12 Oct 2023: Under the patronage of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Prof. Sanjeev Jain and Mentorship of Prof. Yashwant Singh, Head, Department of Computer Science & IT, an industrial visit was conducted for 100 students of IT/ITES (vocational Students) of Govt Higher Secondary School Smailpur on 11th Oct 2023.

 The students visited the Central University of Jammu to familiarize themselves with recent trends, developments, and innovations in the field of science and technology. The students visited the different state-of-the art laboratories of different science streams to get knowledge about future aspirations in the area of science and technology at the Central University of Jammu campus. They also visited the Kalam Centre of Excellence, Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Science, Himalayan Aerosol Research Instrumentation (HARI) facility, IoT Lab, Engineering Block and other important centres at the Central University.

 Dr. Bhavna Arora, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the visit, briefed the students about the innovations, research centres, facilities, and initiatives by the Central University of Jammu.
