Eid-ul-Azha celebrated across Kishtwar with religious fervor, enthusiasm

KISHTWAR, June 29: Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety in district Kishtwar, here today.

Muslim brethren thronged local mosques and performed Nimaz-e-Eid and prayed for peace, development and prosperity of the district Kishtwar as well as the UT.

Elaborate arrangements were made by the district and police administration for smooth celebrations of Eid festival.

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav, SSP Kishtwar Khalil Ahmed Poswal, ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal, Chairman Waqf Board J&K, Kishtwar Zakir Hussain Wani, ACD Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal, Tehsildar Kishtwar Muneeb Umar and officers from Army, CRPF, Police and civil administration were also present on the occasion.

They exchanged Eid greetings with Muslim brethren and prayed for peace, tranquility, integrity, communal harmony and brotherhood.
