Ek Ped Shaheedo Ke Naam: Plantation drive held at Pattan

Cleanliness drive under Swachhta Pakhwada also held

BARAMULLA, AUGUST 10: To honor the sacrifices of our martyrs, a significant plantation drive was organized under the ‘Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam’ initiative within the premises of Trauma Hospital Pattan and ITI Pattan.

The event, led by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Pattan involved planting Saplings in the honor of martyrs, symbolizing their enduring legacy and the commitment to preserving the environment.

The event, organized by the District Information Officer Baramulla in collaboration with Media Fraternity Pattan also included the ‘Swachhata Pakhwada 2024’ cleanliness drive. These initiatives were part of a broader effort to promote sustainability and cleanliness in the region.

The event was attended by SDPO Pattan, Tehsildar Pattan, Town Commander 29RR Pattan, SHO Pattan, and BMO Pattan, who all supported the plantation efforts.

The program saw the active involvement of numerous organizations and institutions, including the Sports Association Pattan, Social Forest Department Pattan, Municipal Committee Pattan, Islam Markazi Idara Sharia Pattan, Little Buds Public School Palhallan, New Era Pattan, Pioneer Institute of Learning Pattan, and Al Huda Public School Pattan. Each played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the drive.
