Election Commission of India Team Reviews Election Preparedness at Leh

Leh, Mar. 18, 2024: The Director of the Election Commission of India, Shubhra Saxena, chaired a review meeting on the election preparedness of the 1 Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency in Leh.

A thorough review of all aspects of election preparedness by various agencies was conducted during the meeting.

The review meeting was attended by Yetindra Maralkar, Chief Electoral Officer, Ladakh, Sheikh Junaid Mahmood, DIG, Ladakh (SPNO), the District Election Officers of Leh and Kargil, the Senior Superintendents of Police of Leh and Kargil, as well as officials from the Chief Electoral Officer’s office in Ladakh and the District Election Offices of Leh and Kargil.

From the Election Commission of India, B. C Patra, Secretary, ECI, also participated in the meeting.
