Elevated metrolite – an unprecedented step for Jammu & Srinagar; soon to be a reality

27 July: In a pathbreaking development, elevated metrolite will be a reality soon for twin cities of Srinagar and Jammu.

For Srinagar it will be 25 kms and Jammu it will subside to 23 kms. Additionally, the budget amounted for Srinagar is INR 4352 Cr and Jammu is INR 3590 Cr.

The metro which is serving mobility in terms of safety, reliability and convenience will an unprecedented step in the J&K UT.

Information and PR J&K wrote in a Tweet, “Elevated metrolite will be a reality soon for twin cities of Srinagar for 25 km at Rs 4352 cr and Jammu for 23 km at Rs 3590 cr to provide “best-in-class” mobility in terms of safe, reliable, convenient and sustainable public transport.”
