Empowering Patriotism: Mitti Diya Making Competition, Independence Day Rehearsal held in District Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, AUGUST 08: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Kishtwar, orchestrated a remarkable Mitti Diya Making Competition as a part of the Pre-Independence Day 2023 celebrations.

This event spanned across all zones of the district, fostering a sense of artistic expression and national pride. A total of 2957 boys and 2103 girls enthusiastically participated in this competition, showcasing their creative prowess and dedication.

In a parallel effort, the rehearsal for the Independence Day 2023 celebrations commenced at the iconic Chowgan ground in Kishtwar. On the inaugural day of the rehearsal, an impressive parade of 28 contingents showcased their synchronized march past, epitomizing discipline and unity. This rehearsal is meticulously supervised by the Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), Sh. Dewan Chand, and overseen by the diligent District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO), Kherati Lal Sharma.

These initiatives not only nurture the creative and physical aspects of the youth but also instill in them a deep sense of patriotism and pride for our nation.
