Empowering Poonch youth: District Task Force Committee approves 166 Mission Youth initiative schemes
DC calls for promotion of self employment Schemes
POONCH, FEBRUARY 06: The District Task Force Committee today discussed and approved various Mission Youth Initiatives Schemes aimed at empowering and uplifting the youth of Poonch district. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Yasin M. Choudhary.
Among others present were Deputy Director Employment, Mohammad Rafiq, District Information Officer, Vishaldeep Chandan, Industrial Promotion Officer, Ramanjeet Singh, (Rep), Motor Vehicle Inspector, Imran Choudhary, (Rep), DNO EDI, Iftkar Ahmed, Vikas Sharma from lead bank Poonch and other concerned.
A total of 166 cases were approved by the Committee, marking a significant step towards fostering youth empowerment and ensuring a brighter future for the beneficiaries.
The committee deliberated on three key initiatives, namely Tajeswani, Spurring (SEI), and Mumkin. These initiatives aim to provide comprehensive support and opportunities to the youth to enhance their skills, employability, and overall socio-economic growth.
Under the Tajeswani initiative, 08 cases were approved, enabling deserving young individuals (female candidates) access to resources and programs that will aid their personal and professional development.
Additionally, 7 cases were approved under the Spurring (SEI) initiative. Furthermore, the committee approved a remarkable 151 cases under the Mumkin initiative. This initiative focuses on empowering the youth by providing them dependable livelihood in the transport sector.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, expressed his satisfaction over the outcomes of the meeting and emphasized the importance of investment in self employment Schemes for the welfare of the youth.
The Deputy Commissioner further highlighted the district administration’s commitment to facilitate and to create a conducive environment for the growth and development of the youth.
