Enthusiastic Celebration of Teachers’ Day witness in Reasi District
REASI, September 5: The Teachers’ Day was joyously celebrated today in the auditorium of the DC Office Complex. District Development Commissioner, Babila Rakwal, graced the occasion as the chief guest, and the event was thoughtfully organized by the Department of Education.
Teachers’ Day is an annual commemoration held on the birth anniversary of India’s second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a distinguished educator who dedicated his life to the noble cause of teaching.
In her address to a gathering of teachers and students, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the profound significance of this day, a day to pay homage to the architects of our nation. The DC underscored that a teacher’s role extends beyond the classroom; they shape students not just academically but also morally, preparing them for future challenges.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to education, seventeen teachers from the School Education sector were honored during the event.
Sunita Bali, Chief Education Officer Reasi, extended her congratulations to both teachers and students for orchestrating a grand celebration.
A medley of cultural events, illuminating the vital role of teachers and their enduring impact on society, was skillfully organized by educational institutions.
The event saw the presence of prominent figures including ADDC Jyoti Slathia, ADC Abdul Star, CEO Reasi Sunita Bali, ZEO Reasi, Dy. SP Hqrs. Neeraj Padyar, school principals, and a large contingent of teachers and students.
