Essay writing Competition on ‘Role of Youth in India’s Future’ organize at IIMC Jammu

Jammu, September 24: A Hindi essay competition was organized for students under the Hindi Pakhwada 2024 program at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Jammu.

Students wrote essays on the significance of youth in today’s era, focusing on their crucial role in shaping India’s future. The competition aimed to encourage students to reflect on the importance of youth in driving the nation forward. Participants from English Journalism, Hindi Journalism, and Digital Media enthusiastically took part in the event.

The Hindi Pakhwada program earlier conducted Radio Jingle competition, Debate competition and Hindi Typing competition.

The program was planned under the mentorship of Dr. Dilip Kumar, Regional Director, IIMC Jammu. essay competition program was organized by Madhusudan, Academic-cum-teaching associate and co-organized by Gulshan Kumar, Academic Associate.

Essay competition organized at IIMC Jammu

An essay competition on the topic ‘Role of youth in the future of India’ was organized on Monday at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Jammu under the Hindi fortnight. Students of Hindi, English journalism and digital media participated in it. The students presented their views on the role of youth in the future of India and its importance. Regional Director of IIMC Jammu Dr. Dilip Kumar encouraged all the participants.

The result of the competition will be released at the closing ceremony of the Hindi fortnight. The goal of this competition was to tell the students that the active participation of youth is required for the development of any country. The competitions underlined the importance of youth in the future and told how they are a symbol of energy, enthusiasm and innovation of modern Indian society. Along with playing an important role in the development of the country, they also make an important contribution in the renewal and promotion of national policies. The competition was organized by Academic and Teaching Associate Madhusudan and co-organized by Academic and Teaching Associate Gulshan Kumar.

A selifie point established at IIMC Jammu for students, teachers and employees under under Swachhta Pakhwada. Students, employees and staff members took selfies and vowed to spread the message of cleanliness to the masses.

Special lecture organize on ‘Startup Stories’

A special lecture on the topic of ‘Startup Stories’ was organized at IIMC Delhi on Monday afternoon, which was also broadcast live at IIMC Jammu. IIMC alumni Shali Ittaman (Media Advisor) and Abhik Chaudhary (Chief Strategist and Founder, Salt and Pepper Consulting) were invited to provide inspiration and guidance to the students in this special program.

Shali Ittaman started his speech by praising the uniqueness of the Indian mind and its creativity. He told how genius the minds of Indian people are and in support of this, he also presented many real examples. He urged the students to think broadly and on a larger scale so that they can find ideas for new and relevant startups. Shali Ittaman said, ‘If you have an idea, research it deeply and understand every aspect of it.’

At the same time, Abhik Chaudhary told in his speech that if your startups solve real-world problems, they will be more successful. He advised the students to find such micro ideas in which big entrepreneurs cannot interfere. He said, ‘We have to get complete knowledge about our ideas and also think about the solutions to all the problems that may arise in the future.’
