Evading arrest 2 absconders held in Kathua

KATHUA, 8 June 2023: District Police Kathua started a special drive to arrest long pending absconders on Thursday.

In the first instance, Police Station Rajbagh has arrested an absconder Ghulam Nabi Rathar R/o Sari Ramban District Ramban. The Accused was absconding more than 12 years and was evading arrest.Against whom a warrant under Section 512 CrPC has been issued by the court of law in case. The authorities have been searching for the defendant since the issuance of the warrant.

Today, a police team located and arrested absconder Ghulam Nabi r/o Sari Ramban District Ramban and today said person produced in the JMIC Court Hiranagar.

While in the second instance on 8 June, Police Station Basohli has arrested an absconder Bittu Singh, resident of Nagali Tehsil Basohli and District Kathua.

The Accused was absconding from 5 years and was evading arrest.against whom a warrant has been issued by the court.

Today, police team located and arrested absconder namely Bittu Singh S/o Bali Ram R/o Nagali Tehsil Basohli and will be produced in the court of law.
