Every single vote has decisive role in elections: Prof. Mohtra

In a democracy people elect their representatives through the power of vote and every single vote is important, said Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Incharge, BJP Library & Documentation Department, while addressing a meeting of party’s senior leaders of Doda district.

This meeting commenced with paying tributes to the great nationalist people, who worked throughout their life for the cause of the nation in the far-flung mountainous areas of the district.

 Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, while remembering the sacrifices of Swami Raj Katal, Thakur Surjit Singh, Daya Krishan Kotwal, Tej Ram Padha and dozens of other leaders of their times, said that each one of them contributed a lot in uniting the patriotic people for strengthening nationalist forces to defeat all such attempts which were posing threat to the unity and integrity of the country. Their work in unfavourable conditions teach the present generation a lot and the elders should educate the youth about the contribution of all such people, who faced atrocities but did not deviate from their path of serving the motherland even at the cost of their lives.

Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, while stressing upon the party activists of the Doda to fan out in entire length and breadth of the district, said that every door should be knocked to see support for the BJP candidate from Kathua- Udhampur-Doda parliamentary constituency. He said that every single vote matters in elections and all efforts should be made to ensure that all the people cast their votes and maximum are in favour of the BJP.

Prof. Mohtra further said that the next few days are very crucial as the polling date is approaching nearer and it becomes imperative on part of everyone in the BJP to devote more time and mobilize people support for the party. He said that the people should be informed about the good works of BJP led NDA government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and assure them of more development and social welfare in the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
