“Everyone in state either witness or victim of corruption”: Madhya Pradesh former CM
Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 21 (ANI): Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath on Thursday slammed the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in the state on the issue of corruption and said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now ashamed of the CM.
Kamal Nath, while speaking to the reporters in Jabalpur, claimed that everyone in the state is either a witness or a victim of corruption.
“Every person in the state is either a witness to corruption or a victim of it. What can I say about Shivraj Singh? Now BJP itself is feeling ashamed of saying that he is their Chief Minister,” the former CM said.
CM Chouhan’s lying machine is running at double speed but the people of the state have now recognized his reality, he added.
“Now, BJP has four faces Banawati (Fake) BJP, Milawati (Adulterated) BJP, Dikhawati (Showoff) BJP and Sajawati (Decorative) BJP. The BJP has made Madhya Pradesh as the capital of scams in the entire country. Every day a new scam is coming to light. Every person in the state is either a victim or witness to corruption. A system of corruption has been created right from Panchayat till the top level,” the Congress leader said.
Notably, the state will go to assembly polls later this year.
However, ahead of crucial elections, several BJP leaders, including a former member of parliament (MP) of BJP from Balaghat Bodh Singh Bhagat have joined the Congress party along with their supporters.
These leaders took the membership of the Congress in the presence of state Congress chief and former chief minister Kamal Nath at the state Congress office in Bhopal on Wednesday.
The leaders who joined the congress party include Bodh Singh Bhagat from Balaghat, Dilip Singh from Rewa, Rajesh Patel and Sumit Choubey from Budni and Prabhat Joshi, Dr Bhim Singh Patel and Chandrashekhar Patel from Vidisha along with their supporters.
