Excavator among 3 vehicles confiscated by Samba Police for illegal mining

In the ongoing crackdown against illegal mining activities, Samba Police have seized three additional vehicles, including an excavator, in the jurisdiction of Police Post Supwal on consecutive days.

A team from Police Post Supwal, led by its Incharge, in collaboration with the Mining Department Samba, confiscated a JCB with registration number JK21G-0078, a tractor trolley with registration number JK21H-0078, and another tractor trolley without registration, all of which were involved in illegal mining in the Chak Jawala area of Supwal.

The seized vehicles have been handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba, for further necessary action.
