Expenditure Observer reviews election preparedness in Ramban
RAMBAN, MARCH 22: Taking concerted steps to ensure the seamless conduct of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the Expenditure Observer for the 04-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency, Satyanarayana Raju Bhupathi, led a crucial meeting today in Ramban.
The meeting provided a platform for extensive interaction among the Nodal Officers responsible for overseeing election expenditure monitoring across the district Ramban, an integral part of the 04-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency.
District Election Officer Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, delivered a comprehensive briefing through PowerPoint presentation to the Expenditure Observer, outlining the preparations made and the teams assembled to monitor compliance with the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and expenditure of the candidates/ parties.
The Expenditure Observer meticulously reviewed the preparations and the status of teams on an assembly constituency-wise basis. He stressed on the paramount importance of maintaining updated records and adhering strictly to the guidelines outlined by the Election Commission of India for expenditure booking.
Emphasizing the significance of dedication to duty, he highlighted the necessity of seamless coordination among various teams for effective expenditure oversight. He asked the nodal officers to promptly document any instances of MCC violation and inform the election authorities without delay.
Expressing his satisfaction with the election preparations in Ramban district, the Expenditure Observer commended the concerted efforts of all involved.
