Expenditure Observer visits Ramban, takes firsthand appraisal of arrangements
RAMBAN, AUGUST 19: The Expenditure Observer for the Assembly Elections-2024 for District Ramban, Sulekh Chand Jain visited the district headquarters to review election preparedness across all aspects.
Accompanied by District Election Officer (DEO) Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, and SSP Kulbir Singh, the Expenditure Observer inspected key locations to take firsthand appraisal about election arrangements, including the office of the Returning Officer for AC-54 Ramban, the Strong Room, and the 24×7 Election Control Room established within the District Administrative Complex, Maitra Ramban.
The DEO provided a comprehensive briefing on the district’s geography and the preparations undertaken by the District Administration and Police Department to ensure a free, fair, and transparent election, with equal opportunities for all contestants. Additionally, the DEO shared the status of the final voter lists under the 2nd Special Summary Revision (SSR) – 2024 and highlighted the arrangements being made at polling stations to facilitate voters from all sections of society.
The DEO also briefed the Expenditure Observer about election expenditure in previous elections made by the contestants and other significant information in this regard.
The visit was attended by Returning Officer AC-54 Ramban, S. Harpal Singh, Dy. DEO Abdul Jabar, and other concerned officers.
