Fake India Post vehicle with suspected link to anti-national activities seized in Jammu
In a notable security update, Narwal Police made a significant move by stopping a Bolero pick-up that was falsely displaying India Post logos and is suspected of being involved in anti-national activities. The driver of the suspicious vehicle abandoned it and managed to escape before the police could catch him.
Initial investigations have uncovered that the vehicle had fake registration and chassis numbers, which only deepens the mystery surrounding its purpose. Authorities are particularly concerned about a specially modified compartment within the vehicle, which seems designed for hiding or transporting illegal materials.
SP South Jammu, Ajay Sharma, took to social media platform X to confirm the incident, stating: “Jammu police, South zone, intercepted a fake vehicle with the India Post logo. It has a specially modified space, raising suspicion that it was used for transporting illegal material and potentially for anti-national activities. FIR lodged.”
A case has been filed and a thorough investigation is currently underway to track down the fleeing driver and uncover the true motive behind the vehicle’s use.
