Fare well party hosted on the Superannuation of Dr Sangita Nagari, Principal of GDCW Kathua

Kathua:  fare well party was organized by Government College for women Kathua by the staff of the college on  the occasion of the Superannuation of Dr Sangita Nagari worthy Principal of the College. She is one of the renowned Principals of Jammu and Kashmir (U.T). She rendered 30 years of service.

She worked in various capacities as principal, Administrator, Coordinator IQAC, and exemplary teacher who always worked in the interest of Students and institutions. She remained supportive of all the staff members and guided everybody from time to time and wherever her services were required by the department she was always ready at the beck and call.

She excelled in the field of research and she authored many books, organized Conferences, Seminars and presented many Research papers at both the National and International level. On this occasion, Prof Ashwani Khajuria Senior Faculty of the college Spoke and added the virtues of Dr. Sangita Nagari, he said that he has association with her for 20 years and learned many things of administration which shall be helpful to him for near future. He wished her very happy and prosperous retired life.

Dr Arun Dev Singh Staff Secretary of the College appreciated about the tremendous qualities which are being carried out by Dr Sangita Nagari, he said that he learned abundant tips of academics and administration which will be rich treasure for him, he said Dr Sangita Nagari was an expert in carrying out NAAC inspection and helped the institutions to get B+ grade.

He further said that it is sad and bitter moment for both staff and him that we would lose such a dynamic principal who always remained supportive and compassionate to every person in the college and she would ever be remembered for miraculous and exemplary services.

All the staff members teaching, non-teaching, and Local Fund Employees wished her from core of their heart “a very happy, cheerful, and healthy retired life”. Dr Babita Jamwal, spoke on occasion and appreciated the qualities of Dr. Sangita Nagari. On the occasion: Prof Ravinder Kour, Prof Pankaj Nandan, Dr Naresh Sharma, Prof Raj Kumari, Prof Som Raj, Prof Ambika, Prof Shivani , Dr Poonam Sambyal, Prof Romika Bassin, Prof Vijay Kumar, Prof Pallavi Dr Varchaskam Sharma, Dr. Mukesh, Dr. Deepti, Dr. Usha Kiran, Prof. Satish Khajuria, Mr Roshan Lal, Ms. Anuradha, Dr Anupam Manuhaar, Dr. Rohit Sharma, Dr. Maruf, Prof. Radhika and Sh. Hem Raj were also present.
