Father Son duo arrested with contraband substance & illicit forest timber in Baramulla

BARAMULLA July 15: In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, J&K Police conducted a raid at a house located in Kundi Barjala Kamalkote. During the raid, a father and his son were allegedly found involved in smuggling and illegal trade. The authorities also recovered approximately 7 kilograms of a substance resembling poppy straw, suspected to be a contraband substance. Additionally, a staggering 93 cubic feet of illicit forest timber was confiscated from the premises.

A case has been registered under the relevant section at the concerned police station and further investigation is initiated.
