FICCI FLO Jammu-Kashmir & Ladakh flags off SMVD Half Marathon at Katra

KATRA, April 2: Starting the new term 2023-2024 by seeking the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, Chairperson FICCI FLO JKL Varuna Anand along with her Core Team flagged off the Second Edition of the SMVD Katra Half Marathon organised by One Level Up Sports.

This half marathon was not just a regular run promoting health and fitness, it was aptly named as “The Divine Run” as it began from the Katra stadium right in the foothills of the Trikuta Hills with the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi.

Jammu attracts tourism primarily in the form of pilgrimages. The exploration & development of newer places as tourist destinations must be encouraged. This run was organized with a message to promote Reasi as a Tourist destination in Jammu.
The stadium resounded with zest and zeal from participants present from across india who participated in the 3 categories of the run 21km, 10km and 5km.

Varuna anand was accompanied by Senior Vice Chairperson Ruchika Gupta, Vice Chairperson Aarti Choudhary, Treasurer Sona Mehta, Secretary Mona Saraf, Jt. Secretary Chandini Kapoor and EC member Neha Mahajan.

The team after flagging off the marathon seeked the divine blessings of Deva Mai for a fulfilling, enriching and productive year ahead.
