Mrs. Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson FICCI FLO JKL, expressed her profound gratitude to the Veer Naris (war widows) for the sacrifice of their loved ones. “This tree plantation is a humble gesture to honor our martyrs and salute their families. Planting trees in their memory by the Veer Naris ensures their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we remain eternally grateful,” she said.

In a symbolic and emotional moment, the Veer Naris planted trees, each marked with a placard displaying the name of the martyr in whose honor it was planted.
