FICCI FLO JKL Organizes Health Camp Under ‘Har Ghar Swasth’ Initiative at GD Goenka School, Gajansoo, Marh
Jammu, September 5, 2024 – FICCI FLO JKL, in partnership with SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, successfully conducted a comprehensive health camp at GD Goenka Public School, Gajansoo, Marh. This event was part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Swasth’ initiative by FICCI FLO JKL, aimed at delivering affordable healthcare services to rural communities. The camp saw the participation of over 200 individuals from the surrounding rural areas, who benefited from expert medical consultations, health check-ups, testing, and free distribution of medicines.
Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson FICCI FLO JKL, engaged with the participants and encouraged them to take advantage of the various healthcare schemes provided by the government. She extended her gratitude to Mrs. Sanya Bansal, Director GD Goenka Public School, and Mr. Arindam Roy Choudhary, Principal, for their support in facilitating the camp. The health camp addressed a broad spectrum of health issues, providing specialized services in orthopedics, ophthalmology, and general medicine.
Renowned doctors from Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, including Dr. Ashwani Kumar (Internal Medicine) and Dr. Imran Ganai (Orthopedics), conducted necessary medical tests and prescribed medications, which were provided free of charge to the patients.
A significant feature of the camp was the state-of-the-art Volvo medical bus from Narayana Hospital, equipped with advanced facilities like X-ray, ECG, and blood testing.
The dedicated medical team ensured that each patient received thorough health evaluations and appropriate consultation based on their diagnoses.
In addition to medical services, patients were informed about the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which offers free healthcare services such as joint replacements, cataract surgeries, and cochlear implants. Several patients in need of procedures were identified and scheduled for free surgeries at Narayana Hospital.
FICCI FLO JKL remains committed to organizing more health camps with the goal of reaching as many rural households as possible.
