Fire breaks out at warehouse in Prayagraj, several vehicles damaged
Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 22 (ANI): Several vehicles suffered damage after a fire broke out in a warehouse in Prayagraj’s Jhunsi area, an official said.
Two fire tenders reached the spot of the incident.
Speaking to ANI, Prayagraj Chief Fire Officer Rajeev Kumar Pandey said, “As soon as we received information about the fire, we immediately took two vehicles from the fire station and reached the site of the incident. After reaching the site, we immediately called for more vehicles from Naini Fire Station and Phulpur Fire Station and managed to extinguish the fire in one and a half hours.”
There was no loss of life, but around 16 vehicles were affected by the incident, the official said.
The cause of the fire was the high tension wire, which broke and fell, due to which the fire broke out, he said.
