First Batch of YUVA DOOTs imparted training at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, APRIL 18:  A day-long training program for the first batch of YUVA DOOTs was today organized under Mission YUVA here in the Conference Hall of the DDC Office Complex.

The event was held in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pawan Kotwal.

The training program was designed to equip YUVA DOOTs—the field-level ambassadors nominated under the Mission—with the knowledge and skills required to support and facilitate the registration process of young entrepreneurs. The sessions covered key aspects such as scheme guidelines, eligibility criteria, and procedural mechanisms involved in on-boarding youth under various components of Mission YUVA.

The ADC emphasized the significance of empowering youth at the grassroots level, highlighting it as a cornerstone for promoting entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and sustainable development.

He underscored the transformative potential of Mission YUVA in driving inclusive economic growth and creating opportunities for the region’s aspiring entrepreneurs.

The Resource Persons from stakeholder departments delivered detailed presentations, shedding light on the responsibilities of YUVA DOOTs and sharing strategies for community outreach.

These included methods for engaging with potential entrepreneurs identified during the baseline survey and providing them with necessary handholding support.

A live demonstration of the YUVA App was also conducted, enabling participants to gain practical exposure to digital tools for data collection, registration, and real-time status tracking. The program concluded with an interactive Q&A session, further reinforcing the readiness of YUVA DOOTs for on-ground implementation.
