First Home Vote Cast by Ali Mohd Rather in Srinagar’s Hazratbal for Lok Sabha Polls
Srinagar May 07: Ali Mohd Rather, a differently-abled voter, made history by casting the first home vote in Dara, Hazratbal, Srinagar for the Lok Sabha elections. The Srinagar seat polls are set for May 13. The Election Commission of India introduced the special feature of ‘home voting’ for elderly and differently-abled individuals, ensuring inclusivity in the electoral process.
