First-of-its-Kind Open-Air Gym inaugurated in Block Palmar

5 more being dedicated to people in other parts of Kishtwar District: DC

KISHTWAR, MAY 13: First of its Kind  open-air gymnasium installed under the 14th Finance Commission scheme of RDD Kishtwar was inaugurated today at block Palmar.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was officiated by the Touseef Ahmed, Naib Sarpanch of Lower Palmar B in the presence of esteemed dignitaries and enthusiastic residents.

This ambitious project was initiated under the guidance and directives of the District Development Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav and under the close supervision of Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP),  Zakir Hussain Wani, RDD officers and local PRIs. The District Youth Services & Sports Department also played a pivotal role in bringing this project to fruition.

The newly inaugurated gymnasium boasts fitness equipment of the highest quality, meticulously designed to cater to the fitness needs of people from all walks of life.

This open-air gymnasium is a testament to the unwavering commitment of District Administration Kishtwar towards promoting fitness and well-being within our community.

Overall 18 Open Air Gyms are to be installed at different designated places of District Kishtwar particularly in the rural areas where fitness facilities are not enough.

Meanwhile, the DC Kishtwar informed that   5 more Open gyms have been installed at designated places including TRC mughal maidan,H/S Dikri, GDC Chatroo, UPS Dharbadan and H/S Tagood and these will be inaugurated soon by District Administration Kishtwar for the people.
