Floriculture Department celebrates “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption”

JAMMU, August 05: The Department of Floriculture Parks and Gardens Jammu celebrated “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption” at Directorate of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens, Har-Ki-Poudi Bagh-e-Bahu Jammu under the supervision of Director General, Department of Floriculture Parks and Gardens Jammu, S. Jatinder Singh.

The Director General administered the pledge to all the officers/officials. The officers and officials pledged to maintain integrity, transparency, accountability and fairness in every work. They also vowed to promote good governance and ethical business practices as per laid down norms of the Government.

Interacting with all the employees of the Department, the Director General stressed upon them to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the vigilance department. He also directed the concerned officers to sensitize the employees and the public about the ill effects of corruption through the dissemination of information on the ground level.

Deputy Director, Jammu, Deputy Director (P&S), Accounts Officer, Floriculture Officer (HQ) and AFO Bagh-e-Bahu were present on the occasion along with all the officials of the Directorate.

The observance of pledge taking ceremony was also organised in all the Districts of the Division under the guidance of District Officers of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens Department.
