Floriculture department organises awareness camp  at Panchayat Sira-A

UDHAMPUR, May 17: Department of Floriculture, Udhampur today conducted an awareness camp at Panchayat Sira-A, Block Chenani of District Udhampur.

    During the programme, the Assistant Floriculture Officer, Udhampur educated the farmers about different schemes of the Department. In the camp, farmers were also acquainted with the technical know-how for the cultivation of Marigold and Lavender crops which are both cash crops.

Later, the Sarpanch of Panchayat Sira-A, Makhan Manhas thanked the officers and officials of the Department for organising the awareness camp.

Among others, Sarpanch, Panches and farmers including the general public of the area participated in the camp.
