Former Congress Leaders Kulbhushan Khajuria and Kalpana Devi Join Bharatiya Janata Party
Grand Welcome by Election In-charge G. Kishan Reddy, Sat Sharma, Ashish Sood, and Kavinder Gupta
Jammu, 24 September: In Jammu and Kashmir, former Congress leader and ex-Sarpanch Kulbhushan Khajuria and former Panch Kalpana Devi, along with their supporters, have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). A grand welcome was accorded to them at the party headquarters by Union Minister and BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir election in-charge, G. Kishan Reddy, and Jammu and Kashmir BJP’s acting president Sat Sharma.
The event also witnessed the presence of BJP leaders from the Marh Assembly constituency, as well as senior party leaders Ashish Sood and Kavinder Gupta. On this occasion, G. Kishan Reddy stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relentless efforts for Jammu and Kashmir have not only set the region on the path to peace but also sparked a revolution in the fields of construction and development. He highlighted that every aware section of society is being influenced by this progress and joining the BJP.
Speaking at the event, the party’s acting president, Sat Sharma (CA), expressed that the inclusion of Kulbhushan Khajuria and Kalpana Devi in the party will play a significant role in strengthening the BJP in the Marh Assembly constituency. He added that the massive participation of people in the BJP’s public programs is a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s selfless services for Jammu and Kashmir. Today, the BJP is receiving overwhelming support from all sections of society in Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed confidence that the BJP will secure a decisive majority in Jammu and Kashmir, forming the government on its own, and that the double-engine government will take Jammu and Kashmir to new heights of development and prosperity.
