Former MLA highlights monkey menace in block Dansal, seeks action from Divisional Commissioner

Jammu, December 04- A delegation led by Former MLA and senior Congress Leader Th. Balwan Singh  called on Division Commissioner Jammu and brought his notice the sufferings of people due to uncontrolled increase in the population of monkeys in the area.

He said that there are more than 50 Revenue villages in Block Dansal and the residents of almost all these villages have been suffering due to uncontrolled increase in the population of  monkeys . The most of  the people living in Block Dansal used to grow crops in their fields but the monkeys destroy it.  He also submitted a memorandum  containing  problems of people of the Block.

Divisional Commissioner gave patient hearing to the deputation and  assured  them that  adequate measures will be taken to protect the  crops of  villagers.
