Free AYUSH & NCD screening camp held at PHC Gundna

DODA, June 12: Reaching out to the people at their door steps to provide them better healthcare facilities, the Health Department organized a day long free AYUSH and NCD screening camp at Government Primary Health Centre Gundna.

The camp was organised as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Adbhut Doda initiative of District Administration.

Around 110 patients were examined for different ailments with NCD screening by the health team. The health department has been holding series if screening camps in every nook and corner of the District to detect hypertension, diabetes, cancer etc. Besides emphasizes is being laid on the   preventive and promotive healthcare, as screening plays a pivotal role in detecting patients early and treating them effectively. Medicines were also provided to the people free of cost.

 The medical team headed by Dr Hamid Parray (Medical Officer ISM) along with Yasmeena Akhter  (JSN), Pamposha Begum (Lab Tech) and Ghulam Rasool (MTS) rendered their services during the camp.
