Free medical check-up cum camp held at Kotli-Doda

DODA, JULY 03: As part of an outreach program, the District Health Society Doda, and under the supervision of CMO, Dr. Om Kumar, organized a free medical check-up cum awareness camp at Village Kotli, located in Medical Block Ghat, on July 3, 2024, under the MMU initiative.

The camp aimed to provide quality medical care and free medicines to the poor and needy people of the area at their doorsteps. The medical team, led by Dr. Sanjeev Singh (MLHP/CHO), along with MMU staff members Mr. Swami Raj (Pharmacist), Mr. Ajeet Singh (Helper), and Mr. Sanjay Kumar, rendered their services and screened around 80 patients from different areas. Free medicines were distributed to the patients during the camp.
The camp focused on educating the locals about various lifestyle diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and other ailments while catering to their immediate medical needs. This special initiative by the health department aims to provide better healthcare services to people living in far-flung areas and to meet their immediate healthcare needs effectively.
