Free oral health education awareness cum screening camp held at GHS Pranoo

DODA, May 19: As part of School Health Programme and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the BMO Ghat organized a free oral health awareness and screening camp at Government High School Pranoo in Block Ghat.

The aim of the awareness programme was to educate children about health and hygiene, besides oral health.

Dental Surgeon Dr Rashida Begum was the part of the camp who spoke about oral health, hygiene and shared tips and techniques about mouth hygieneThe students were encouraged to brush and take care of the teeth.

Around 150 students were screened by Dr Rashid Begum. The students were advised individually for further investigation, if required on a case to case basis.

It was informed that similar camps are scheduled to be held on a regular basis in schools as part of the outreach programme and celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The management of the school appreciated the noble effort of the health department.
