GCW Parade organises one day workshop on Social Entrepreneurship

JAMMU, February 23: Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Innovation and Incubation cell, Government College for Women, Parade Ground, in collaboration with Mesh, IIT Jammu, on Thursday organised a one day workshop on “Foundation Building for an Social Impact Entrepreneur”.

Chairman Total Start Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Developers, Sri Suryanil SN Sannyasin was the Resource person of the event. He emphasized on the importance of social entrepreneurship as it provides a framework for businesses to find their own success in the pursuit of helping others. His mission is creation of wealth by underprivileged for underprivileged.

Dr. S.P. Saraswat, Principal Government College for Women Parade Ground Jammu was also present in the event. He applauded the resource person for such an informative session. He also appraised the participants on the newly established entrepreneurship Cell and Innovation and Incubation Cell of the college. He Emphasized on present day requirement of job creators rather than job seekers.

The students of GCW Parade and IIT Jammu participated in the event with great enthusiasm and zeal. Dr.Shivani Manchanda Convenor, ED Cell gave the formal vote of thanks. The event was attended by Prof. Shrotika Rajput, Prof Jyoti Bahl, Dr. Ramesh Chander, Prof Neha, Prof Shelly Kalsi,  Premveer Singh and  Mukul Yadav.
