GDC Ajas Bandipora conducts Fire Awareness, Mock Drill

BANDIPORA, August 7: Govt. Degree College (GDC) Ajas Bandipora in collaboration with Assistant Director JK Fire & Emergency Services Command Bandipora today conducted a Fire Awareness/Mock Drill within the college premises.

The program was attended by students, faculty, and staff of the college.

The program was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Parveen Kousar. In her address, she stressed on the importance of fire safety and urged the students to be aware of the dos and don’ts in case of fire.

On the occasion, a detailed presentation on fire safety measures, including how to prevent fires, how to extinguish fires, and how to escape from a burning building. They also demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers.

The students participated actively in the program. They asked several questions about fire safety. The fire officials answered all their questions patiently. The program helped to create awareness about fire safety among the students and faculty of the college.

The fire awareness program and practical were conducted in a safe and controlled environment. The fire officials took all necessary safety precautions to ensure the safety of the students and faculty. The students were instructed to follow all safety instructions and to stay away from the fire. The fire officials were also careful not to use too much water or foam during the practical demonstration.
