GDC Ajas organises Essay Competition

BANDIPORA, MARCH 11: The NSS wing of Government Degree College (GDC) Ajas, Bandipora in collaboration with Seminar and Debates Committee today  hosted an essay competition titled ‘Women Empowerment: Breaking down Barriers, Challenges and Stereotypes.’

The event aimed to engage students in critical thinking and reflection on the topic of women’s empowerment, highlighting the need to address existing barriers, challenges and stereotypes that hinder progress towards gender equality.

Students enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their writing skills and perspectives on the theme of women empowerment.

The event witnessed participation of students from diverse academic backgrounds contributing their unique insights and opinions.

Participants were encouraged to explore the various dimensions of the topic, including societal norms, institutional barriers, cultural stereotypes, and individual experiences.

The essay competition commenced with an inaugural address by the organizers, highlighting the significance of promoting gender equality and women empowerment in today’s society.

Following this, participants were given a designated time to craft their essays, allowing them to delve deep into the subject matter and articulate their thoughts effectively.
