GDC Basohli hosts Slogan Writing Competition on “Viksit Bharat Shreshtha Bharat @2047”
KATHUA, December 22: In a spirited display of young minds envisioning a prosperous India, Government Degree College Basohli today held a slogan writing competition as part of the ongoing national campaign “Viksit Bharat Shreshtha Bharat @2047.”
Over 100 enthusiastic students participated in the event, pouring their ideas and aspirations for a developed India onto the canvas of words.
Prior to the competition, Principal of the college Dr. Nidhi Kotwal, interacted with the participants, illuminating the goals and significance of the “Viksit Bharat @2047” initiative launched by the Government of India. This interaction laid the foundation for the students to craft slogans that resonated with the campaign’s vision of building a developed and inclusive nation by 2047.
The event was organized under the dedicated leadership of the College NSS unit, guided by Dr. Roshan Lal, the NSS coordinator.
The tireless efforts of senior faculty members Prof.Jasvinder Singh, Dr. Shub, Dr. Suraya Partap Singh, Dr. SumitDubey, Prof. Ram Krishan, Prof. Sandeep Sharma, Prof. Parveen, Prof. Shivali kapoor contributed immensely to the smooth execution and enthusiastic atmosphere of the competition.
The participating students exhibited remarkable creativity and foresight in their slogans, drawing inspiration from diverse aspects of India’s potential, strengths, and aspirations. The entries explored themes ranging from technological advancements and environmental sustainability to social harmony and economic prosperity, showcasing the vibrant perspectives of India’s future generation.
The judging panel, composed of respected faculty members, will meticulously evaluate the entries based on originality, impact, and alignment with the “Viksit Bharat Shreshtha Bharat @2047” theme. The winning slogans will be announced in a subsequent ceremony, and the top entries will be prominently displayed and shared on the college platforms to inspire and encourage the community.
