GDC Kastigarh organizes slogan writing competition under Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign
DODA AUGUST 08 As part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada campaign, Government Degree College (GDC) Kastigarh organized a slogan writing competition aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness among students.
The event was held under able guidance and patronage of Prof. Koshal Kumar Mangotra, Principal of the college, who emphasized the importance of creative expression in spreading messages of cleanliness and sustainability.
Students from the 3rd and 5th semesters participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talent and dedication to the cause of Swachhta (cleanliness). The competition was intense, with students crafting impactful slogans that reflected their commitment to a cleaner and greener environment. Babita Devi secured the 1st position, Asma Kouser was awarded the 2nd position, and Arti Devi took the 3rd position in the highly competitive event.
The competition was judged by Dr. Sumit Kotwal and Dr. Anupam Lata, who praised the students for their thoughtful and creative contributions. The event was well-attended by other faculty members, including Prof. Sat Pal, Ghulam Qadir, Asiya Nasir, Manmohan Kotwal, and Sachin Thakur, along with non-teaching staff.
The slogan writing competition is one of the many activities organized by GDC Kastigarh under the Swachhta Pakhwada campaign, which aims to instill a sense of responsibility towards cleanliness and environmental sustainability among students.
