GDC Kishtwar wins pre-quarters, enters quarter-final of Inter Collegiate Cricket tournament

KISHTWAR, February 11: Government Degree College Kishtwar today registered a thrilling 17 runs victory over GDC Paloura in the inter-collegiate Cricket tournament, organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.

After winning the toss, GDC Kishtwar decided to bat first.

Batting first, GDC Kishtwar under the captaincy of Hritik Wazir scored 130 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing 8 wickets.

Shoaib made 25 runs and Nowdeep contributed 24 runs.

In reply, GDC Paloura bundled out at 113 runs by losing 7 wickets by the end of 20 overs and lost the match by 13 runs.

From the bowling side, Millan Kumar of GDC Kishtwar took 2 wickets, Faris firdous and Shoaib clinched 3 wickets and 2 wickets, respectively.

With this win, GDC Kishtwar enters the quarter-finals of Inter Collegiate Cricket tournament.
