GDC Marheen organises series of activities to mark Hindi Diwas

KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 14: Department of Hindi of Government Degree College Marheen celebrated Hindi Diwas by organising a series of activities from 11th of Sep., to 14th of Sep., 2023.

As per the handout, on the 1st day, an essay writing competition regarding the literature of Munsi Premchand was organized in the College premises.

Likewise, on the 2nd day poems were recited by students on the theme Hindi Bhasha ka Mahatva,

Similarly on the 3rd day a symposium was organized in the college and Hindi Diwas celebration concluded with screening of a documentary on Hindi Bhasha ka Vikas.

The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta.

In her address, the Principal emphasized the importance of Hindi language and motivated the students to promote it in their areas. She also highlighted that Hindi connects us to our roots and allows us to express our thoughts, emotions and aspirations with millions.

A large number of students participated in the activities. HOD, Department of Hindi Dr. Rajni Sharma coordinated the programme.

The staff members presented during the series of events were Dr Yash Paul Sharma, Pardeep, Prof. Deepak Gupta, Dr. Munisha, Dr. Sonika, Dr. Nitika, Dr. Barneet, Dr. Reemi, Prof. Preeti and Prof. Surbi.
