GDC Marheen, organized an expert lecture  under the theme “Role of Vigilance for curbing corruption in India

In a series of events during the celebration of the Vigilance Awareness Week, Department of English ,GDC Marheen, organized an expert lecture  under the theme “Role of Vigilance for curbing corruption in India”. The programme was organized under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta, esteemed Principal of the college.

Dr. Arun Dev Singh,, HOD department of English was the resource person on the occasion. He deliberated on the importance of celebrating Vigilance Week every year. He also emphasized that awareness among the masses is only the solution against corruption. He also discussed about the prevailing problems of corruption and some suggestive measures at individual and societal level to eradicate the problems by organizing awareness programs. Students actively participated and clear their doubts by asking a number of questions during the discussion. The faculty members present on the occasion were Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr. Balbinder Singh, Prof. Anoop Sharma, Dr. Shallu Rani and Prof. Manu Saini.
