GDC, Nubra organises event to display cultural diversity among G20 countries
LEH, April 03: As a part of the series of programe under G20/Y20, Cultural and Social Activity Committee, Government Degree College, Nubra organised an event on April 3 to display the cultural diversity among different G20 countries.
A total of 20 students participated in the event who displayed the different cultures of G20 countries by performing dance, song and speech. Each student depicted a single country of the G20 by holding their respective national flag.
In addition to that, students were dressed up in their respective country’s costume, representing their culture.
Dr. Azar Hussain, Department of History, briefed about the G20 countries, their flags and stressed that G20 is an economic grouping.
Dr. Tsetan Dolker, Assistant Professor and Convener, Cultural and Social Activity Committee, briefed about the importance of culture to nurture the society and celebrate the cultural diversity to support the growth and sustainable development of the world.
