GDC Nubra wraps up two-day voter awareness programme

Leh, Apr 9, 2024: The Political Science Department and the Electoral Literacy Club of Government Degree College, Nubra, successfully concluded a two-day voter awareness programme on April 9.

The primary objective of these initiatives was to generate awareness about the electoral process, particularly in light of the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election.

On the first day, students showcased a skit on Voter Awareness, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the electoral process.

Further, on the second day, a quiz competition was conducted on the theme ‘Elections in India’. A total of 8 students, forming four teams, participated in the competition, showcasing their knowledge and understanding of the electoral system.

Team A was declared the winner, while Team B secured the runner-up position. Both teams were awarded cash prizes in recognition of their participation and efforts.
