GDC Ramgarh commemorates 75 Years of adoption of Indian Constitution

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 17: To commemorate the 75 years of the adoption of the Indian Constitution, the Department of Political Science of Government Degree College (GDC) Ramgarh organized a joint recitation of the Preamble to the Constitution. The event was held under the guidance of the Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra and coordinated by Dr. Shivali Panjgotra.


Head of the Department of Political Science Priya Sharma began the event with a brief introduction, highlighting India’s constitutional journey and the significance of Constitution Day. She elaborated on the guiding principles and ultimate objectives of the Constitution. Addressing the audience, she emphasized the key features of the Indian Constitution, describing it as the bedrock of the nation’s democracy.


The event saw active participation from faculty members including Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Ashok Kumar, Dr. Shivali Panjgotra, Dr. Neeraj, Priya Sharma, Anjali, and Sayema, along with the students and staff of the institution. Together, they gathered to honor the enduring ideals of the Indian Constitution, celebrating the occasion with enthusiasm and patriotism.


Recital of the Preamble was led by Bhoomika Sharma, with all participants joining in unison to reaffirm their commitment to the principles of justice, equality, and fraternity.


The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Priya Sharma, expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their contributions, which made the celebration a resounding success.
