GDC Vijaypur organises series of awareness activities

SAMBA, August 25: Government Degree College Vijaypur today organised a Slogan-cum-Poster Making competition and Documentary Screening on the theme “Ill-effects of Drug Abuse” under the aegis of “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.”

The events were held under the supervision of Dr. Vandana Gupta, Principal of the College. NSS volunteers and other college students participated in the activities with great enthusiasm, fervor and zeal.

The event commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Shittal Sharma, Nodal Officer of Nasha Mukt Bharat Committee. She briefed the students regarding various awareness campaigns for eradication of substance abuse. The proceedings of the program were carried out by Arti and Iqra of BA Sem-V. 

The events were coordinated by Dr. Shittal Sharma (Convenor IQAC) and Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convenor Red Ribbon Club). The refreshment was also distributed to all the participants.
