GDC Vijaypur organises workshop on Communication Skills

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 16: IQAC of Government Degree College Vijaypur in collaboration with Department of Commerce and Department of English organized a highly successful workshop on “Communication Skills” that aimed at guiding students towards career ambitions and developing personality. 

Students of the college attended the lecture  with great fervor and zeal.

Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Convenor, IQAC) welcomed the guest. 

The speaker of the event was  Kiran Kurwade, Director- Strategic Initiatives, Chitkara University, Chandigarh. He focused on the importance of holistic development for improving the Intelligent quotient among the students. He also stressed that for achieving higher IQ there is an important role of Emotional quotient (EQ).  More than 100 students and all the faculty members participated in the workshop

Prof Mamta Gupta (HOD Commerce) concluded the session by motivating the students towards improving their communication skills for the better future perspective. The whole event was conducted under able guidance of Principal of the college Dr. (Prof.) Vandana Gupta.

The proceedings of the program was done by Dr. Tisha Singh (Lecturer, Dept of Commerce) and Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal ((Lecturer, Dept of Education) presented formal vote of thanks. Pens were distributed to all the students who attended the workshop.
