General Observer reviews enforcement of MCC in AC Bhaderwah

Political Representatives assure cooperation


BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 15: General Observer for Assembly Constituency Bhaderwah Mallikarjun today convened a meeting with the political leaders and representatives of various political parties to discuss the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and other guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India for the upcoming Assembly Election 2024. Returning Officer (RO) Sunil Kumar and other government functionaries associated with Election process were also present.


The discussion focused on logistical arrangements, voter education initiatives, and measures to enhance transparency and prevent electoral malpractices.


Party representatives projected their concerns and suggestions, which were thoroughly discussed in the meeting. They also appreciated the administration’s efforts, especially the cooperation during the last Lok Sabha Election, particularly regarding the timely issuance of permissions to political parties.


The meeting was attended by ARO Bhaderwah, Tehsildar Bhalla, Liaison Officer SDPO Wasim Hamdani, SHO Sandeep Parihar, and other officials, along with representatives from various political parties.
